This stunning omega collection piece dates from 18th November 2004. It is presented in excellent condition and has just been released from a private collection. Why did NASA choose Snoopy as a mascot ? in 1968 they chose the beagle as a icon to emphasize mission success and to act as a "watchdog " for flight safety. They established the agency's silver Snoopy award they same year.
This model commemorates the “Silver Snoopy Award” that OMEGA received in 1970 for helping to get the Apollo 13 crew safely home. The watch has a representation of the “Eyes on the Stars” patch on the subsidiary.
