This stunning Ladies Cartier Tortue features a 33.5mm 18k white gold case, white dial with black roman numeral hour markers, a 18ct white gold bracelet and a 18ct white gold crown set with a single diamond. The top of the case and shoulders of the case are set with 132 round brilliant cut diamonds. 

The tale of Cartier’s shaped cases began with the Santos Dumont in 1904 instantly followed by the Tonneau in 1906. In this progression of profiles, the curved contours of the Tortue come in as the third watch case design by Cartier. As Louis Cartier progressed on his creative journey the the first iteration of the Tortue came to light. Cartier’s inception of the tonneau-shaped "tortue à pattes" case design, literally translating to "turtle on legs" came to light and has been one of their most popular models since.
