Lassale is best known for their Calibre 1200, the thinnest in the world at that time. It was invented by Pierre Mathys in 1970 and brought to Lassale in 1975. It caused a sensation for a few years, before Lassale went bankrupt and was acquired by Seiko Group in 1979.
Seiko built on the foundations Lassale laid by creating several variations of the Lassale including this ultra thin model. These watches were designed to be sleek, comfortable and reliable quartz watches. This 31mm dark rhodium steel and gold plate model features a black dial and gold plate edged case. This watch shows signs of wear but is still in good condition.
