Bremont S500 Bamford Special Edition

Featured here is a rare Bremont S500 Bamford Limited Edition, number 111 of 250.

A collaboration between two British watchmakers, it has a 43mm black DLC-coated stainless steel case with a black ceramic bezel with raised and polished minute markers. Powering the watch is the BE-36AE automatic movement, with 38 hours of power-reserve.

The black California-type dial with Bamford Blue indices consists of mixed Arabic and Roman numerals. The name was coined when California-based collectors sought out vintage Rolex Bubblebacks and Panerai divers watches which also had this distinctive pattern.

Further adding to the detail lavished on this watch is the 'sandwich' dial construction, where the blue luminous material is recessed from the top of the dial. The case-back is engraved with a Supermarine S6B seaplane, an ancestor of the Spitfire - and a nod to Bremont's aviation inspired design.

Originally sold in July 2022 and in mint condition, supplied as a full set with its original outer box, leather satchel, limited edition booklet, instruction booklet, chronometer certificate, strap change tool and original international warranty card.
