The now discontinued Rolex Explorer model:214270 is the only Rolex Explorer to feature a 39mm case. The first Rolex Explorer was released in 1953, between then and 2010 the Rolex Explorer were only made in a 36mm case. Untill in 2021 Rolex discontinued the Explorer I, This proved to be an extremely popular size model which many prefered to the previous smaller watches.
